3-D Printed Food
During the store opening of a Harvey Nicols department store, guests stepped into a 360 photobooth for a portrait- with a twist. Guests walked away with a life-like chocolate statue of themselves. Using 3D printing like this is a novel way to impress guests with one-of-a-kind memorabilia. With the invention of 3D printed food (chocolate and sugar), intricate and edible souvenirs can be created onsite. Consider using 3D printing to create cool curated deserts that can't be achieved with a mold, like an ultra accurate Delta plane.

Culinary Cannabis
Tastefully curated, intimate dinner parties are an immersive way for brands to host influencers and engage with gastronomy. In cities around the world and in the U.S. where marijuana laws are becoming more lax, chefs are taking it one step further with marijuana-infused fine dining to create sensory experiences. While it can be hard to pair marijuana with most big brands, the culinary cannabis trend shows how the supper club idea can be tweaked to accommodate trends.

Automation Nation
After Amazon's recent purchase of Whole Foods, the future of grocery stores is subject to change. In Amazon's Beta test, Amazon Go, shoppers skip checkout lines by simply walking out of the store. Technology senses the products and charges your amazon account accordingly.
On the restaurant side, "eatsa", works like a giant vending machine. Diners order on iPads and pick up food in cubbies when it's ready. The goal of eatsa is to democratize healthy food by cutting costs from production and service. Using technology from these examples could work across different events for a clean, modern look.
